Recently, I was approached by Worthy Book to take a look at their Ladies Edition 2014/2015 voucher book. This was actually the first time I’ve heard about this voucher book if I’m being honest here, so I wasn’t sure of what to expect.
Before we begin with the review, here is some basic information regarding the book. It is a voucher book that carries over 120 vouchers at 50+ malls in Malaysia and offers more than RM11,000 worth of freebies and discount vouchers to be claimed. This voucher book retails for RM25.00. It’s available at all major bookstores (MPH, Popular, Times, Borders, Kinokuniya) and selected myNEWS.com outlets in KL & Selangor. Alternatively, it is also available via www.worthybook.my
Now let’s get to the review.
Within this book, there is a table of content listed by categories to cater to your wants and needs. From fashion to beauty to wellness and health. It’s all in here. To give you an idea of what sort of brands you can find in here, I’m going to list a few of my favourites: Zalora, Villa Manja Spa, Color Culture, The Body Shop, and many many more!
For this particular segment, I’m going to talk about my shopping experience at The Body Shop online website using the voucher provided by the book. In the Ladies Edition 2014/2015, a RM10 OFF + FREE DELIVERY is offered from The Body Shop. I chose this one in particular because of three reasons mainly. a) it was online shopping b) call me old school, but i love receiving packages c) i like the body shop personally as their products are 100% vegan and they source through the community fair trade programme.
There were a lot of things that had enticed me while browsing through the products on the website, but I finally made up my mind and chose to get the Mini Bamboo Hair Brush (picture above). It retails at RM26 (so with the voucher + free shipping I only had to pay RM16). So what exactly is it that I bought to be precise? It’s a tiny hair brush that is very handbag-friendly and the handle is made of bamboo all in the name of helping and protecting the planet. (yay to saving mother-earth)
The whole process of ordering and keying in the voucher code was as smooth as it can be, no glitches, no hangs, no “oops the code you have entered is invalid”. It was just as simple as it can be.
I’d definitely recommend getting the voucher book because after looking through all the deals, it’s very obvious that one can save quite a ton of money. Go check out their book, you’ll never know what you might find!
