[Review] Benefit Hoola

Ah, yes, the bronzer. The holy grail to everyone’s makeup collection. It’s totally understandable how the bronzer has become such a staple in everyone’s routine. It can give you an instant tan, or a quick slim down on your face when you feel bloated, but most importantly, it can  create the sharpest cheek bones that can cut any basic bitch alive.

For as long as I could remember I have always been into the whole contouring scene before it even became a makeup essential (insert pretentious whine: I was doing it before it was cool, kay. UGH).

But in all seriousness, as far as I could remember I have always been into chiselling out my features. Before I even knew what contouring powders or bronzers were, I used brown eye shadows to do the job (holla at me if you used to do this).

Fast-forward a decade later, and I am still getting to know what is what in the beauty department. All I can say is boy… The more you know about makeup, the more money you’ll burn.

So let’s get straight into this Hoola bronzer. What sets apart this particular bronzer from the rest I’ve used so far is that I find that the Hoola’s colour suits my skin tone quite well. You see, although my face looks pretty pale from a glance, my skin’s undertone is quite olive. So to find a bronzer has been quite a pain because I have to find a colour that doesn’t have an orange/yellow tint to it.

Now this bronzer has been on the market for a while now, and has even become a favourite amongst many beauty gurus too – and the reason why it has become so loved isn’t surprising too once you’ve had the chance to try it yourself.

Here’s an overview [pros] of the bronzer:

– Matte

– Neutral brown

– Pigmented

– Cute packaging

As for the cons, mainly it’ll be the price for me – it’s pretty up there. Now before you sharpen your axes at me, I know this product is relatively cheap on the market especially since it performs so well. But hey, that’s just me – I’m a walking contradiction who picks and chooses when to be cheap.

Does the product deliver?

Yes and yes.

Will I buy this again?

Yeah, why not?

Is it worth the money?

Personally, maybe? But in the end, it depends on your needs baby girl/boy.
