This year’s Met Gala theme was China: Through The Looking Glass. It featured “high fashion juxtaposed with Chinese costumes, paintings, porcelains, and other art, including films, to reveal enchanting reflections of Chinese imagery.”
One of my favourite parts for this annual event are the outfits featured during the night on the red carpet. Personally, I felt a bit let down because majority of the attendees didn’t really get creative with the theme. The colour palette was quite safe ranging between nude to red.
