[REVIEW] Triqua Skincare

*Disclaimer: Before we begin, I’d like to say that this post required a lot of digging into the world wide web in order to fully understand the company and its products. There are a lot of mixed reviews of that said company, however I’m not going to get into it because I’m too lazy for that sort of drama.

If any of the information here is inaccurate, I do apologise. This is a personal review of their products, however I will provide some links below if you’re interested in reading further about said company.*

I recently came across this line a few weeks ago when I attended a conference for MODERE’s launch in Malaysia. (more information about the company later)

Anyway, since I was one of the VIPs there, I got a goodie bag filled with a complete set of skincare products called Triqua under the company brand Neways. If I’m being honest here, I was a bit hesitant because I’ve never heard of both brands so it made me a bit weary.

It’s a six piece set that contains:

www.neways.com
  • Foaming Cleanser
  • Cleansing Milk
  • Lotion
  • Serum
  • Day Moisturiser
  • Night Cream

Now the products are claimed to be made with natural ingredients and is cruelty free, which in my books are off to a good start.

Here’s some information regarding each product:

Foaming Cleanser:

“Triqua Foaming Cleanser gently lather onto your skin to help promote clear skin by removing dirt and dead skin cells. With its plant based ingredients, it helps keep your skin feels moisturized and soft.”

Cleansing Milk:

“Triqua Cleansing Milk is a silky cream like cleanser that helps to gently removes dirt and make-up on skin. Beside effectively removing dirt and make up on skin , its plant base ingredients also naturally moisturize your skin while keeping your skin feels clean and healthy.”

Lotion:

“Triqua Lotion has a rich and thick texture which is filled with active whitening ingredients that helps to condition your skin while reduces age spots and freckles.”

Serum:

“Triqua Serum is a whitening serum which uses a trendy ingredient known as Flavangenol that helps prevent age spots and freckles.”

Day Moisturiser:

“Triqua Day moisturizer helps to moisturize your skin and provide a water resistant SPF 25 with PA+++ that gives you a longer lasting UV protection. It is light and smooth texture not only makes your skin feels comfortable but also prevent age spots and freckles.”

Night Cream:

“Triqua Night Cream helps to rejuvenate your skin while you sleep. It helps reduces melanin production keeping age spots and freckles at bay while keeping your skin feels fresh and moisturized every morning.”

Personal Opinion: I decided to give it a chance, so I started using Triqua’s set a few days after attending the conference. It’s been two weeks since I’ve been using the products and honestly it’s actually pretty good. I noticed how my skin is much more softer and luminous. My pores aren’t too visible anymore which makes applying makeup so much easier. I can’t really say I would recommend this product to anyone yet because it’s only been half a month since I’ve been using it, but for now I can say I’m pretty happy with the results.

Where to Buy It: As for where you can get the products, well if I’m being frank here even I’m confused myself. I did find a few of their regional websites featuring Triqua products as well as a few independent sellers, but yeah it’s very unlikely I’ll be restocking these products anytime soon.

Regarding the company, well as I’ve mentioned earlier Triqua is under Neways, which is essentially an MLM company that features natural ingredients in their products to promote healthier living. I’m not going to get into it, but the company has had people talking (good and bad). Read more here.

Recently however, Neways was acquired by Capital Z and was relaunched (and repacked) to MODERE. Read more here and here.

Aesthetically MODERE’s website and product packaging is not too shabby. Check it out here.

Now, I don’t want to get into all the cruffafle about the company, but it’s for you to judge. If you ask me, their products aren’t that bad actually. (I got to try their hair serum and it was pretty good). However, with that said I don’t see myself buying their products anytime soon although their prices are up to par with the rest of the natural/healthy products out there because it’s too darn expensive for my standards.

So yeah, that wraps up this review. I hope it was helpful. Again, I’m in no way affiliated in any of the companies and this post was not intended to shed a bad light on anyone. I am merely providing information already found online.
